I love Thursdays.
Today I decided to go home early to eat dinner. I thought I am just to meet and give Doanne the cd I burned songs in at Arki. But, I immediately changed my mind the moment Czarina mentioned ISAW! Soon, I found myself walking out the Arki building with the Thesis Girls (Garci, Nerein, Marinel, Li, Ricah, and Czarina) and Doanne.
We braved the Lagoon with the switch-on-switch-off lamp posts. Creepy.
Ate isaw at Mang Larry’s. 7 isaw manok-s and 3 isaw baboy-s. Carcinogens galore!
Then bought fruit shakes at Lutong-Bahay.
Made tambay at the track oval and took lots of photos.
We were then walking along the street beside the Bahay ng Alumni to ride the jeepney home, when Nerein suddenly craved for The Chocolate Kiss’ Devil’s Food Cake.
The famous moist chocolate cake with fudge filling and marshmallow icing.

For three weeks now, ang dami ko ng na-experience na hindi ko pa nagagawa dati sa UP. Sigh. Ang saya.

I don’t like it. Last year’s was way better. And brighter. And the fireworks display after the community singing (of Christmas songs) was so-so. Wala lang.
At least we get to sit right at the middle. Two rows behind the front row where university officials were seated.
